Tunnel Mountain Reservoir is a fabulous ceremony spot in Banff that gives great views of the surrounding mountains, so I was pretty excited when Mandy & Damon chose to have their intimate wedding there. We met up with them earlier at Charlton’s for getting ready and then went for a first look up on Tunnel Mountain Road before their ceremony at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir. Their ceremony was attended by their closest friends and was a total cry fest. Mandy & Damon’s vows were so sweet and their handfasting was quite emotional. There were no dry eyes, myself included. As we were finishing up some photos with the guests, the skies opened up and the rain fell and everyone just rolled with it! We spent the next few hours wandering around Banff for more portraits and finally ending in Lower Bankhead. Here’s the story of Mandy & Damon’s boho Tunnel Mountain Reservoir wedding in Banff!
Still swooning over Mandy’s floral crown!
I just love it when couples do a first look!
When you cry in the middle of a handfasting… sweet of the officiant to wipe the tears!
I just loved their wedding style!
Mandy & Damon read The Wind & the Willows together at home so I thought it would be fun to do the same on their wedding day!
Ending the portraits with no shoes… perfect!!
