Kim & Andrew planned a summer elopement at Emerald Lake Lodge with Emerald Lake Lodge wedding planner Something New Weddings after travelling from Australia. It was the hottest day of the summer on their wedding day, somewhere around 37 degrees Celsius… I thought we were all going to melt as we stood in the sun at the Viewpoint for the ceremony. You expect a summer elopement to be toasty, but those kind of temperatures just aren’t normal for the Rocky Mountains. After the ceremony we wandered the Lake trying to get a break from the sun and just a little bit of shade. We then went out to the natural bridge for photos. I just love this area and try to go there every time I do a wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge. These are some of my favourite photos from Kim & Andrew’s boho summer elopement at Emerald Lake Lodge!
