Mikayla & James chose to have an outdoor wedding in Banff this past summer with their ceremony at Tunnel Mountain reservoir with close family and friends watching. Their daughters started the procession across the meadow at the reservoir and there were a few tears shed. So sweet. As Mikayla started her walk you could see the tears welling up for her & and for James again. It was amazing to witness such an emotional ceremony! As they said their vows to each other, fresh tears sprung up for more than a few watching. After a joyful I do! they  ended their ceremony with an outdoor first dance surrounded by family atop the Tunnel Mountain reservoir. An outdoor first dance is such a good idea for your outdoor wedding in Banff with amazing mountain views! After the ceremony we wandered along Tunnel Mountain and stopped near the Hoodoos Lookout where we did photos with the kids and the wedding party. I like this spot because it has a bit of a different look that other parts of Banff. We ended their bride & groom couples photos out at Lake Minnewanka, just so the two of them could enjoy some time together.
