I was super excited when Jess & Sean chose their Peyto Lake elopement this past summer. It was the first time I had photographed anyone there and instantly fell in love with the spot. It’s not as busy as other spots like Moraine Lake or Lake Louise but the views are just as stunning! I’m looking forward to many more Peyto Lake elopements! We started the day out in the lower parking lot and hiked up past the usual lookout where the tour buses stop and wandered another 10 minutes to get to this amazing rocky area that overlooks the lake. It was the perfect spot for a ceremony and only a few people hiked by so it was relatively private (no promises it will always be that quiet though!). Following their Peyto Lake elopement wedding ceremony we did a few more portraits overlooking the lake before heading out for a stop at Bow Lake. This was also the my first time shooting at Bow Lake and I’m hoping to go back there a whole lot more too! Such pretty views all around! Here’s some of my favourite photos from Jess & Sean’s Peyto Lake Elopement this past summer!
