Peyto Lake is open year round & is a fabulous location to consider in any season. Winters are very snowy & snowshoes are strongly recommended if you are choosing a snowy intimate wedding or elopement. Autumn at Peyto Lake is beautiful and you can catch early snowfall & still get that beautiful blue-green water. Late Spring & Summer are picture perfect, just a bit busier with the busloads of tourists, but can you blame them for wanting to see such a site? After the ceremony & portraits at Peyto Lake, there are numerous other locations along Highway 93 for more portraits showing off the amazing landscape of the Canadian Rockies.
