If you aren’t afraid of the cold and love gorgeous, snowy mountain scenery, you should absolutely consider a Lake Louise winter wedding. While Lake Louise is a busy tourist destination, it’s not as busy in the winter as it is in the summer months and the snow-dusted view is spectacular! Elizabeth & David had an intimate outdoor ceremony on the lower meadow outside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. A snowstorm decided to roll in with a fresh new layer of fluff that obscured the mountains views but getting married in a snow globe is pretty magical too. Following the ceremony, we wandered around the grounds at Lake Louise for photos. After a while, I whisked Elizabeth & David away to go try a spot on the river down in the town. It was a snowy wonderland there as well and we had the spot entirely to ourselves, which is always nice. We had fun on the river and Elizabeth & David even tried to catch a few snowflakes on their tongues (just the cutest photo ever!). Wrapping up as we were nearing the sun going down, we drove back up the hill where I dropped them off to enjoy the evening with their close family and friends at the Deer Lodge, next door to the Chateau Lake Louise. Here are some of my favourite photos from Elizabeth & David’s Lake Louise Winter wedding!
