Brigitte & John’s Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge elopement was truly a family affair with Brigitte, her two kids & John coming together as a family in this outdoor ceremony witnessed by Brigitte’s friend overlooking the mountains in Kananaskis. I met up briefly with Brigitte as she was finishing getting ready and got a few photos of the kids putting on her finishing touches. We left the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge and walked the grounds to the updated lookout where there ceremony was to be held. With some highly personal vows, including John’s vows to the children, the ceremony sealed their commitment to each other! We stayed on the grounds a little longer for a few photos before heading off to nearby Mt. Lorette Ponds. The Ponds are just a beautiful spot, the water looks amazing there and the mountain views can’t be beat! Though the storm clouds loomed in the distance and we could hear the boom of thunder, we were lucky and didn’t get rained on while we were doing their portraits.
