When you think of a setting for an elegant mountain wedding, the Fairmant Chateau Lake Louise is one of the first places that comes to mind! I met up with Mark while he was getting ready at the hotel for a shots, just casual, nothing too busy before heading to see Michelle who was also getting ready at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. I really can’t say enough how getting ready at the same venue makes these pre-ceremony photos so much easier! Michelle’s son was helping her get dressed and it was super relaxed in her room. She had lots of beautiful details to photograph too! Before you know we were on the way to the outdoor ceremony at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Victoria Terrace. This spot is a little tight but it’s nice to be up and away from the prying tourist eyes, especially for the ceremony. Once the “I do”s were done we wandered the shores of Lake Louise for portraits. I especially liked being up further in the meadow for portraits to be able to block out the tourists and have a little privacy.
