I’m always going to remember the day I met with Mariko & Wataru for their boho Lake Louise pre-wedding portraits because my Mom was in town visiting and she had traveled out with me for the day. I lost my Mom back in April, so just looking back at these photos reminds me of her because it was the only time she had watched me work. Mom was always so proud of me and would tell everyone she met about my work. It was a little embarrassing but I loved her for it. Mom watched for part of the session that I had with Mariko & Wataru and they even selfied with Mom & I at the end of their session. They were such a fabulous couple! They had traveled from Japan for their boho Lake Louise pre-wedding portraits, and although they spoke a little English and I spoke no Japanese, we were still able to take amazing photographs together! I bet you wouldn’t have known that if I hadn’t mentioned it! I’m also excited to see their wedding photographs from back home in Japan, these two are actually getting married this week!
