Banff Destination Wedding

Banff, Weddings

Tom & Stacia chose to do a Banff destination wedding and traveled to Banff from the United States with just their immediate family. We got ready out in Canmore where I spent some time with Tom first, capturing details and a few moments with his Mom before going over to Stacia’s room for details and her getting ready with her sister and Mom. When the couple stay in the same location, it makes photographing getting ready so much easier! Once everyone was dressed, we headed into Banff to Tunnel Mountain Reservoir where their wedding planner, Julianne Young Weddings, had set up a beautiful ceremony space with decor & florals from Willow Flower Co. The mix of rustic wood, greenery and bright florals was beautiful and looked so amazing against the backdrop of Mt Rundle! Just a little extra detail added to a ceremony set up makes all the difference! Following the ceremony we wandered off toward Lake Minnewanka for photos with a stop at Cascade Pond. Here’s some of my favourite photos from Tom & Stacia’s Banff destination wedding!
