The Location: Abraham Lake, Allstones Creek & the Goldeye Centre in Nordegg

A Snippet About the Day: Tasha & Josh chose Victoria Day long weekend for their Abraham Lake Spring wedding. We share the same anniversary weekend… my husband Derek & I were also married on the May long weekend, it’s a great time of year & you’re guaranteed to get a day off for your anniversary! I joined Tasha & Josh at the Goldeye Centre while they were both getting ready with their family & friends before the ceremony, we headed off to find their ceremony spot on Abraham Lake (which I hadn’t quite been able to get to the night before with the state of the roads… the one tricky thing about a spring wedding with all the mud!). It was a bit of a trek in because it was super muddy but luckily none of the cars got stuck & everyone made it to the ceremony. Their Abraham Lake spring wedding had a beautiful geometric arch set against the killer views of the Lake & the mountains, it was beautiful! Following the ceremony we did wedding party photos around the lake then wandered off to Allstones Creek with a last stop at Windy Point before heading back to their wedding reception at the Goldeye Centre in Nordegg. The Goldeye Centre has a quaint rustic feel & it was decorated beautifully for their Nordegg wedding!
