The Season: Cherry blossom season! Glorious spring!

The Location: Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City, Utah

A Snippet About the Day: I’m not a morning person but I was up at the crack of dawn for this Utah State Capitol cherry blossoms couples session to beat the crowds & to get great light. This session had a bit of a bridal feel to it with adding a bouquet, but we figured the more flowers the better to go with the cherry blossoms! The early morning light was lovely & there was really awesome dew in the grass that lit up for minutes when the sun climbed higher that I just loved. Kristine & Luke had great style & had a great dynamic together that made it easy to photograph them… I didn’t have to break out too many bad jokes, they were super comfortable in front of the camera. The best part of this early morning shoot in the Utah State Capitol cherry blossoms was getting to shoot with Coley Cook Photography who is lucky enough to live in the area! She made this sunrise session even more bearable by just being awesome to hang out with.
