This past summer, the Canmore/Banff area was super close to a crazy wildfire and the smoke from those fires lingered in the area. Bre & Landon were married in Canmore during the wildfires and we were a bit worried that we would be able to see the mountains through the smoke. They had a Quarry Lake wedding ceremony, the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding with the Three Sisters overlooking there ceremony in the background. The skies were a bit hazy but I feel like it added a little bit of a romantic haze to the their Quarry Lake wedding. Following their Quarry Lake wedding ceremony, we headed up the hill to Goat Pond for couples portraits and wedding party photos. The mountains were hidden by the thick smoke, but I think it made things just look so dreamy. Not that we want the fires to happen again, but it did make things pretty. We wrapped up the evening with their wedding reception at the Cornerstone Theatre in Canmore, it’s a charming Canmore wedding venue! That cake was just to die for and the party was pretty rocking when we left for the night!
