The Season: Middle of winter, up to our ears in snow… February, actually

The Location: Lake Louise in Banff National Park

A Snippet About the Day: Erin & Justin were headed to the mountains for their Lake Louise vacation, a trip that spent a lot of time on the hills in all that glorious powder, but we met up one morning to do a photo session to celebrate their holiday. Travel sites & magazines will tell you a million places you need to see & stuff you need to do when you’re visiting, but one of the funnest things I like to do on holidays is have a photo session to remember it!  What makes a better souvenir than great photos of you as a couple in a really awesome place? It was a moderately warm day, as far as February in Lake Louise goes & it was a little busy out on the lake (it’s getting more popular in winter here every year as people come for a Lake Louise vacation) but we did manage to wander away from the people enough (and use a handy snow bank & some fun angles) to make it look like we had the place entirely to ourselves! Erin & Justin were super fun & rumour has it Justin actually enjoyed himself even though he was dreading doing photos (I swear I try to make it as painless as possible for you!). We ended their session playing in the snow… a bit of a snow fight & then I had Erin tackle Justin! She just flattened him. They were caked in snow & my last couple shots of them soaking wet & covered in snow are my favourite! Thanks for being game for the silliness on your Lake Louise vacation!
