It used to be that an August wedding guaranteed perfect warm weather, but things are changing! We were expecting a hot & sunny day for Stacy & Johnny’s wedding, instead we got cold, rainy & cloudy. Now, you’d think I was complaining, but I’m not! I don’t mind a little bit of rain and I love cloudy days for the beautiful soft light. It was bit chilly that day for the girls especially, but I’ll take that over being sweaty any day! 😉 Stacy & Johnny both got ready at the Marriott River Cree before heading off to their Greystone Gardens wedding ceremony just outside of Edmonton on the way to Devon. I just love outdoor ceremonies and it was my first time at Greystone Gardens! Stacy & Johnny’s little girl stole the show a few times during the ceremony 😉 Following the ceremony we did a few photos on the Greystone Gardens property and then headed down by the Devon River (one of my favourite local locations for photos). After dodging the mud on the river and getting some really pretty photos we drove back to the Marriott River Cree for a few more couples photos and then got ready for the rockin’ reception that featured a band! Here’s the story of Stacy & Johnny’s Greystone Gardens wedding!
Thank you to Chelsey for being my awesome second shooter!
