We started getting ready for Leah & Mike’s Coast Canmore Hotel wedding at.. you guessed it, the Coast Canmore Hotel. It’s a really nice venue with gorgeous, super modern guestrooms that are great for getting ready photos. The wedding ceremony was at Quarry Lake, such a pretty spot for an outdoor ceremony in Canmore (and there’s parking, sounds silly, but that’s important. It really is!). It was a pretty windy day so we weren’t really battling the smoke from the forest fires luckily so we could see the mountains in the background… but Leah did battle an uncooperative veil for most of the ceremony! Following the ceremony, we hung around Quarry Lake for family photos and pictures with the wedding party before heading up the road past Grassi Lakes for more photos of the newlyweds. Once they were all photo’d out (yup, eventually you will get tired of having photos taken!), we hopped in our cars and zoomed back down into the town to get to the reception at the Coast Canmore Hotel. Leah & Mike did their first dance and Parent dances on entrance which is my favourite way to enter the reception. Everyone is excited and paying attention and it’s just a fun way to kick off the evening. It was a night of great food and fabulous speeches and dancing. Leah & Mike’s Coast Canmore Hotel wedding was so much fun! I’m looking forward more weddings at the Coast Canmore Hotel.
