It was a warm & toasty day for Evie & Andy’s Canmore Nordic Centre wedding this past summer. We started the day with getting ready at the Silver Creek Lodge before taking the limo into Banff to do Portraits at Lake Minnewanka & Cascade Ponds as our first plan to go to Goat Pond & Whiteman’s Pond in Kananaskis was foiled by the road construction. During their photos they played some Frisbee as Evie & Andy met because they play Extreme Frisbee, kinda cool hey? We headed back into Canmore for their outdoor ceremony at Rundleview Parkette where the two exchanged vows and potted a plant together. Their ceremony ended with a cascade of bubbles for the recessional, so much fun! After the ceremony it was just a quick drive up the road to the Bill Warren Training Centre for their Canmore Nordic Centre wedding reception. The newlyweds entered the reception and broke into their first dance, it’s a fun way to kick off the evening! After speeches were done the cake was cut and everyone hit the dance floor to party the night away! We snuck out for a few evening portraits and spotted a bear hanging out nearby!
