Just Because | Tibble Fork Reservoir Engagement
The Couple: Kiersten & Josh
The Season: early Spring & the snow began to melt
The Location: Tibble Fork Reservoir in Utah
A Snippet About the Day: I was extra excited for Kiersten & Josh’s Tibble Fork Reservoir engagement session. My first trip ever to Utah was amazing & I had it packed full of photo sessions since it’s so nice to shoot in a new place! I’d never been to the area before, only creeped photos online, so I was happy with how much there was to work with at the spot! The reservoir was partly frozen over so we stayed far away from the ice. We first wandered into the creek & trees to start, just to get further away from people then we wandered up the red paths that were mixed with snow. The are looked like it had a lot to explore & the mountains in the distance were great. Kiersten & Josh were fun to shoot with & I think we did great for their Tibble Fork Reservoir engagement photos! They were just married this past October! The next time I visit Salt Lake City, I’ll head back to explore Tibble Fork Reservoir a bit more, I think there’s lots in the area I didn’t get to see! The drive in was nice with a scenic winding road & did take a little time to look around to prepare for the Tibble Fork Reservoir engagement session before meeting up with Kiersten & Josh. I’m almost habitually early on days that I shoot & I like to have plan for spots, especially in new places!
Looking for more Tibble Fork Reservoir engagement session inspiration? This was the only time I took photos there but hope to go back!
