Alex & Daniel chose to have a Georgetown Inn Canmore wedding when they got married in December last year. The Georgetown Inn has such a cozy atmosphere being attached to the Pub & to the Inn. Lots of wood & candlelight set the mood for the wedding ceremony & reception. This space is perfect for an intimate wedding of 35 or so people without feeling too crowded! Alex got ready upstairs in one of the beautiful suites, super convenient to get ready at the same location as the ceremony so you don’t have to worry about traveling, parking or traffic. The ceremony was brief but heartfelt & had a special reading of a Robbie Burns poem. Following the ceremony, we headed out into the cold to Goat Pond for portraits with a couple stops along the way toward Whitemans Pond. The stretch of road in the higher alpine area is my favourite to go when couples get married in Canmore to get great mountains views & awesome water! Alex & Daniel toughed out the cold & wind, making gorgeous portraits before arriving back at the Georgetown Inn for their cozy wedding reception to end the night. Enjoy the highlights of Alex & Daniel’s warm & cozy Georgetown Inn Canmore wedding in the winter with lots of rustic touches!
