It’s not often that I get to do Emerald lake Couples photos. I mean, I’m usually there shooting weddings or elopements, so it was nice to be able to wander the Lake and Natural Bridge with Mathias & Dina. There is so much beauty in this area and I don’t just mean the lake. I love nature and shooting in the trees, fields and weeds make me super happy too. I don’t have to have mountains and water in every photos to love it. It started to rain this day and we had a few moments that reminded me of The Notebook (and I am a little embarrassed to admit that I really like that movie… and I should probably read the book too) with the rain falling. We finished up their session out at the natural bridge. It’s amazing how the water can look so different after a storm! It was muddy and fast moving and still beautiful!
