Jenny, Ian & their friends & family traveled up from Texas to celebrate their intimate Emerald Lake wedding in the Canadian Rocky Mountains this past October and it was spectacular! I am such a sucker for a ballgown and Jenny’s blush tinted dress looked so great against the blue-green waters at Emerald Lake! I popped in for a few getting ready photos before the ceremony started on the terrace at Cilantro. The spot is tucked away so you don’t get tourists wandering through, but they do hang out at the fence and on the bridge to watch. The ceremony had a beautiful backdrop for them to say their vows! After the ceremony we popped over to the dock for some photos and then out they went for portraits on the lake in the iconic red canoe! There were a few shaky moments (it’s not easy to maneuver and pose in a canoe!) but luckily they didn’t tip! After we finished up on the lake we went out to the Natural Bridge (one of my all-time favourite photo locations) for more photos on the rocks and with gorgeous blue-green water. When we headed back to Emerald Lake Lodge to deliver them to their reception, we found the bridge empty and could actually get some photos on it! It was a great way to end the session. Here are some of my favourites from Jenny & Ian’s intimate Emerald Lake wedding!
