Nordegg is open year round & is a fabulous location to consider in any season. Winters are very snowy & snowshoes are strongly recommended if you are choosing a snowy intimate wedding or elopement. Autumn in Nordegg is beautiful and you can catch early snowfall & still get that beautiful blue-green water. Late Spring & Summer are picture perfect, just a bit busier people camping, but can you blame them for wanting to see such a sight? After the ceremony & portraits at Abraham Lake, there are numerous other locations you can visit like Crescent Falls or head to Cline River for a heli adventure deep into the icefields. If you've been dreaming of an intimate mountain wedding with those unreal blue waters, a rocky landscape & lush green woodland areas, Nordegg just might be the spot you've been looking for. While not yet quite as popular as Lake Louise & Moraine Lake (that's a blessing), Nordegg is perfect for a more adventurous intimate wedding or elopement. You won't find hordes of tour buses in this area, so it really does feel a little more wild. There are few indoor venues in the area, this place really lets you get out there to enjoy nature.
