My last winter wedding of the year was Steph & Wyatt’s Iron Goat intimate wedding in Canmore this past February! While I enjoy going to the Iron Goat Pub when I’m in Canmore to hang out, it was my first time photographing a wedding there! Steph & Wyatt’s ceremony was upstairs on the outdoor terrace, a nice lcozy patio with a great view of the valley. As Steph stepped through the door on her Dad’s arm, Wyatt’s face just lit up as he saw his wife-to be, so sweet! Following the short ceremony, we wandered down into town for their portraits, including the boardwalk over Policeman’s Creek that I’d never photographed at before! It was a nice spot that was just the right size for photographing a couple (definitely not enough room there for a wedding party though). We also did some photos higher on the hills so that we could get the mountains in the background. I don’t want every photo to be all about the mountains, but we need to do some!
